Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Reynolds, 83, longtime resident of the New York community, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the New York Baptist church with Rev. Ricky Penn and Rev. C.O. Jackson Jr. officiating.

Interment was at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Foster and Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Reynolds was born August 22, 1897 in Dallas and died Saturday June 20, in the local hospital following an extended illness. She had been a resident of the New York community since 1909. Her late husband, W.M. Reynolds, died in May 1969. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the New York Baptist church.

Survivors include five sons, John W. Reynolds of Baxter, Jack Reynolds and Hugh Reynolds of New York community, Weldon Reynolds and Kenneth Reynolds, both of Irving; one daughter, Mrs. Colleen Flint of Kaufman; one brother, Jack Holley of New York community; one sister, Mrs. Florene Green of Dallas; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons and included Lanny Reynolds, Dewey Reynolds, Duane Reynolds, John Reynolds, Hugh Dewayne Reynolds and Mark Reynolds.
