Norma Jean 'Dink' Guffey, 76, Anderson, died Wednesday, Sept.6, 2006 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
She was born April 6, 1930 in Alexandria, the daughter of Thomas and Helen (Gustin) Lundy.
She was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School. She had worked at JJ Long Trucking and Johns-Manville Corporation, both formerly of Alexandria, RCA in Indianapolis, and Applewood Pay Less store.
She was a member of the Alexandria Eagles Auxiliary, and attended New Life of the Nazarene in Anderson.
Survivors include her husband, William 'Bill' Guffey, whom she married Dec. 27, 1984; three sons, Von Tomlinson of Edgewater, Fla., Max Tomlinson of Alexandria, and Butch Tomlinson of Moonsville; three daughters, Debbie Wittebort, Pam Hafiett and Xan Tomlinson, all of Anderson; two step-sons, Ronnie Guffey of Fairland, and Michael Guffey of Anderson; a step-daughter, Diana Murphy of Anderson; four sisters, Mary Ruth Cowart and Correne Richardson, both of Alexandria, Barbara Hall of Yorktown, and Linda Antrim of Gaston; a brother, Jerry Lundy of Elwood; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, a brother, Larry Lundy, and her first husband, Paul Tomlinson.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, at the Noffze Funeral Home in Alexandria. The Rev. Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery Summitville.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. The Alexandria Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
