Nuel Gene was retired Military, where he served in the Special Forces, and also retired from Illinois Central Rail Road. Nuel Gene was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Magee and he loved race cars and races.
Nuel Gene is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Walker Kennedy; daughter and son-in-law, Shellie and Mike Smith of Byram, MS; grandchildren, Ryan Walker Smith and Spencer Jay Smith; and brother, Elton Ansel Kennedy of Magee.
He was preceded in death his parents, Elton and Marzell Kennedy, and one brother W. D. Kennedy.
