MARZELL R. KENNEDY
Marzell R. Kennedy, 83, retired from Arnold Apparel, died Wednesday, October 29, 1997, at her home on Simpson Highway 28 in Magee, of heart failure.
Services were held on Friday, October 31 at Mims Mitchell Chapel in Magee with burial in Sharon Cemetery in Simpson County.
Mrs. Kennedy was a native of Magee and a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church and was an Eastern Star.
She is survived by two sons, Nuel Gene Kennedy and Elton Kennedy both of Magee; one brother Delos Runnels of Mt Olive; one sister, Annie Lois Roberts of Prentiss; four grandchildren, Keith Kennedy, Shellie Kennedy Smith, Dewayne Kennedy and Stephanie Kennedy; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Kennedy, Kelly Kennedy and Ryan Smith.
Mrs. Kennedy is preceded in death by her son, Rev. W.D. Kennedy.
