Richard was born to Evelyn and Edward Plentz Sr. Novembaraer 14, 1946. He grew up in Toldedo with his brothers Ed(Butch) and David. Also sister Sue. After school he married Shirley Boyd and was divorced in 1973. They had 2 children, Rick(jr) and Rhonda.
He worked for the gas company, Champion Spark Plug and then retiring from the railroad. He married Barb Blossum and they moved to Florida.He later enjoyed being a Mason and Shriner and a memeber of the Sylvania Pyramid Lodge #287 F&AM and the Zenobia Shrine. For fun he enjoyed his Gold Wings motorcycle,fishing and golfing. He died from a massive heart attack.
