Age 80, of Urbana, OH, passed away on February 4, 2002 in Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, OH.
He was born on May 21, 1921 in Champaign County, OH, to John J. and Nella (Stuart) Bosart.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army World War II and was retired from Cooper Energy.
He was an avid woodworker, a member of the Clark and Champaign County Genealogy Society, First Families of Clark County and a member of the Urbana United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tim Metz of Urbana, OH; two grandchildren, Klayton and Kacy Roddy, Urbana, OH; step granddaughter, Mandy (Eli) Ratliff of Springfield, OH; great grandchildren, Zoe Ratliff; sisters, Eleanor White of Woodstock, OH, Dorothy Stout of West Liberty, OH and Shirley Kennedy of Maumee, OH.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez O. Bosart on March 16, 1997 and his parents.
Burial in Oak Dale Cemetery.
