Buddy Meade, Jr., 43, of Oil Springs, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville. Born May 7, 1962, in Johnson County, he was a son of Buddy and Dora Baldwin Meade of Oil Springs. He serviced wells. Survivors include a son, Buddy Nathan Meade of Oil Springs; a daughter, Amanda Staton of Louisa; a brother, Mark Meade of Oil Springs; three sisters, Terri Hill, Mary Ann Blanton and Trish Meade, all of Oil Springs; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 15 at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with James R. Blair, Paul Castle and Douglas Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Baldwin Cemetery, Oil Springs, under direction of Paintsville Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the funeral home.
