A native of Evadale, he lived in Silsbee 11 years and was a retired equipment operator with the Texas Forest Service.
Survivors include his wife; sons; daughters; sister; brother and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee.
