JASPER — Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in J. 0. Stringer Funeral Home for Clarence P. Cowart, 65, retired senior executive vice president of the First State Bank.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cowart died Friday after being stricken suddenly.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Cowart; son. Clarence Cowart Jr. of Beaumont; four brothers, Tom and Elray Cowart, both of Evadale, J. C. Cowart of Groves and George Cowart of Jasper, and four sisters. Bell Dickerson of Jasper, Gladys Courtin of Houston. Sybil Wood of Orange and Juanita Harell of Conroe.
