Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Grace Methodist church for Mrs. Edith Arminda INMAN, 79, who died at 3:45 p.m. Friday of a cerebral hemorrhage at her home west of the city on Sixth street road. She had been ill for the past three years.
The Rev. Ray MILLS will officiate at the rites and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetry here. Friends may call at the Foster & Good funeral home after 7 p.m. today until noon Monday and at the church an hour before rites.
Mothers of World War II will conduct services at the fneral home at 7:30 p.m. today; at 8:30 p.m. today he Order of Eastern Star will conduct its rites there. Sunday at 8 p.m. the Rebekah lodge will hold its services at he funeral home.
Born Feb. 14, 1882, near Wabash, Mrs. Inman was the daughter of John and Ginevra BRECHNER UNGER. Her first marriage was to Reuben K. GILLILAND, who died in 1930. Her second marriage was to John INMAN, who survives.
Mrs. Inman had resided in the Rochester community 57 years. She was a member of the Grace Methodist church, WSCS, Rebekah lodge, Order of Eastern Star, Past Noble Grand and a Gold Star Mother of World War II.
Surviving, besides the husband, are two daughter, Mrs. Mary CARR, R.R. 2, Rochester, and Mrs. Lyman (Alice) BAKER, Rochester; one son, Geiger "Gig" GILLILAND, Rochester; two grandchildren, Mrs. Richard (Mary Edith) McKEE and Richard GILLILAND, Rochester; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Lydia STEPHENS and Mrs. Rose MARTIN, both of Liberty Mills; Mrs. Lawrence (Ruth) AUCKER and Mrs. Lloyd (Eva) CONRAD, both of North Manchester, and several nieces and nephews. Two sons preceded her in death.
