Elizabeth was buried as a Gillum, but it is believed she did marry a 2nd time to Robert Fulton in Carroll Co, AR. See the 1880 census. Details listed below.

Elizabeth married Francis M. Gilliam (spell. on census) about January 1854. They had 5 sons:
1) James Casmer Gilliam, [1854,AR-1888,AR]
2) John M.Gilliam, [c1855, AR-before 1870,AR]
3) Marion Francis Gillum [1857,AR-1921,OK]
4) George W. Gillum, [1859,AR-1936,OK]
5) Jasper Newton Gillium, 1863,AR-1929,ID]
Notice the different spellings in their surname.

Elizabeth, called "Mother Gillum" by her family, is buried in Elmgrove Cemetery next to her son Marion Francis. She died in Mayes County, Oklahoma in 1901, per her granddaughter, Annie Henrietta Gillum Cole, who was my mother-in-law. The dates could no longer be seen on the gravesite in 1982, but the words "Mother Gillum" could. She was listed on the 1900 census of Cherokee Nation, Twp. #19, I.T., that became Mayes Co, OK in 1907, she was living with her youngest son, Jasper Newton, who later that year moved to Idaho, he married Chloe R. Jenkins, c1898. Jasper died in Lemhi Co, ID in 1929. Though Elizabeth must have married (2) Robert Fulton (listed as his wife on the 1880 census of Carroll Co, AR in Clifty Twp., Family # 370 and Marion, George & Jasper were listed as Fulton's step-sons), no marriage record was found. She was using Gillum as her surname on the 1900 census, perhaps it was because she was called Mother Gillum by her family? ---Darlene White Cole, 7/2012
