Grover Waggoner, 63, was found dead in his home in Circleville Monday night about 8 o'clock by Sheriff Harry Levi. Friends had not seen Mr. Waggoner since late Saturday night and called the sheriff when he did not appear at the house last night.
Coroner Robert Johnson was called and said death may have occurred late Saturday night or early Sunday morning and was of natural causes. Mr. Waggoner had suffered form severe asthma for some time.
He was born in Rush County, a son of Marion and Belle Waggoner and had lived in the county all his life. He was a veteran of WW I, a member of the Eagles lodge and the American Legion. He was employed at the Smiley Pool Room.
He is survived by several cousins, including Mrs. J. W. Redden, Bert and Lott Redden, and Mrs. Donald Porter, all of Rush County.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Moster Mortuary with the Rev. Gibson Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 6 o'clock this evening.
