Funeral services for Charles C. Jeffers, of Almira, were held February 26. Mr. Jeffers, who was 90 years old, was the husband of Hazel Luiten, formerly of Odessa. He died at Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Davenport on Feb 21, 1993. He is survived by his wife, a resident at the Davenport Convalescent Home; one sister, Lulu Daniel, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Rev David Oliver officiated at the funeral at the Almira Community Church. Interment was at Almira Cemetery. (Odessa Record: 3-04-1993)
