Margrett was the daughter of Allen Mathis and Elizabeth Johnson Moore. Her father died 9 October 1900 in Oakwood and her mother died between 1870 - 1880 in Leon Co, TX, It unknown where either of them are buried. Margrett's twin brother, Harmon M. Moore, is buried in Forreston Cemetery in Ellis Co, TX. She first married James W. Wade. They were the parents of two sons, Harmon Allen "Allie" Wade Sr. and William Whittier "Will" Wade. Allie is buried in Park Lawn (now Laurel Land of Fort Worth) and Will is buried in Mansfield Cemetery. Margrett's husband, James, died between 1880 and 1892, probably in Leon Co, TX. It is unknown where he is buried. Margrett married William Dawson Northcutt 16 October 1892 in Leon Co, TX. They had no children. William died 24 January 1908 in Hereford, TX. Margrett was living in Mansfield with her son, Allie, at the time of her death. According to cemetery records, she is buried in an unmarked grave in Mansfield Cemetery.
