Aldridge, Charles W., Jr., 86, retired Beechcraft/Raytheon Tool and Die Maker, WWII POW who served in Normandy, Rhineland and Central Europe, passed away Thurs., October 29, 2009. Visitation: 9-8 p.m., Mon., with family present 6-7:30 p.m. Services: 2 p.m., Tues., both at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater. Preceded in death by parents, Charles Sr. and Winifred (Wingate) Aldridge; daughter, Deborah Thole; sister, Margaret Haick. Survivors: wife, Velma; son, Kent (Beverly) Aldridge of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Lynda (Gary) Mast of Derby; son in law, Steve Thole of Rose Hill; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
