Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Folkston with interment in Pineview Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Gertrude Hodges, Mrs. Goldia Stewart, both of Folkston, Mrs. Ruth Barnes, Lake Worth, Fla.; two sons, Edward, Palatka, Fla., Roy, Folkston, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Ammons, Brunswick, Ga., Mrs. Vella Cardwell, Somerville, Ga.; three brothers, Henry Peagler, Lumpkin, Ga., and Tommie and Julian Peagler, Waycross, Ga.; eight grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
