YOUNG LIFE CALLED
Melvin Van Otterloo, son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Van Otterloo died March 14, at Rochester, Minn., where he had been taken a few days earlier for medical treatment. The young man had been sick for some time and was taken to the hospital at Rochester for treatment.
He was born in Rock Valley and lived here all his life. He had attained the age of ten years, six months and four days.
He leaves his parents, seven brothers and four sisters, who
have the sympathy of many friends in their sorrow.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon.
Among relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John S. Van Otterloo of Sioux Center, Herman J; Van Otterloo and son, Tony, of Hancock, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Grevenhof, of Bigelow, Minn.
