Mrs. Eva Allen Died Wednesday At Age Of 95
---Mrs. Eva Cinderella Allen, 95, formerly of 305 W. Hanover st., died at the Battle Creek Sanitarium at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday after being a patient there for three weeks.
---Born Sept. 15, 1873 in Tekonsha, the daughter of Henry and Matilda (Randall) Aurand, she was married to Charles T. Allen on Jan. 30, 1895 in Tekonsha. They lived there until the death of her husband in 1929, then she moved to the above address in Marshall. She later moved to Battle Creek.
---She was a member of Calvary Baptist church.
---Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Edith Tobin) Main, a patient at Spring Hill Nursing home, Battle Creek; three grandsons, Dean C. Rainey and Gerald A. Rainey, Battle Creek, and Nelson C. Tobin, Altadena, Calif.; 10 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Nina) Tingay, Marshall. A daughter, Mrs. A. J. (Blanche) Hubb preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva C. Allen, Battle Creek, who died Wednesday night at Battle Creek Sanitarium, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Court funeral home with the Rev. Myrl Ross of Calvary Baptist church officiating. Interment will follow in Lyon Lake cemetery. Friends who wish may call at the funeral home.
