Anna formerly worked as an accounting clerk for Ingersoll-Rand, Cameron Division in Phillipsburg for 12 years. She later worked as a cashier for Woolworth's in the Hillcrest Mall, Phillipsburg for 20 years.
Born April 3, 1930 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Rose (Bock) Bubba.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, where she was a also a member of the Over-Fifties Club.
She a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Warren 389, Phillipsburg. She was also a former troop leader for the Junior Catholic Daughters.
She was a member of the Phillipsburg Chapter of the A.A.R.P.
Anna enjoyed bowling all her life and bowled with the Tri-City Toppers Bowling League at Warren Lanes every Thursday night.
Family was important to Anna and she valued time they spent together. She organized family reunions, kept in touch in with relatives in Italy and Australia and spent countless hours tracing family genealogy. In 2001, she traveled to Vena, Italy to visit the town where her father was born and saw the house where he lived.
Anna and her husband, Artenno would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this September 12th.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Valerie A. Lusardi of Lopatcong Twp. and her husband, Joseph and their daughter, Lauren; a brother Dominick J. of Phillipsburg; two sisters, Catherine Moran of Phillipsburg and Mary Slingland of Palmer Twp. A brother Andrew died earlier.
Funeral services will begin 9:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. in Ss. Philip and James Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg, with the Rev. Vincent P. Chen officiating. Entombment will follow the Mass in Holy Apostles Mausoleum, Greenwich Twp., N.J.
