A native of Italy, he came to this country in 1922, and had resided in Phillipsburg the last 17 years. He was a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church.
Mr. Bubba is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Bubba; five children, Ann, Catherine, Mary, Domenick, and Andrew, all at home; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Petruzzia, of Youngstown, Ohio.
Funeral of Mr. Bubba
Funeral services for Andrew Bubba, 48, of 451 Pursell street, Phillipsburg, who died Tuesday in Easton Hospital, were held today at 8:15 a.m. from the residence, followed by requiem high mass in Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church at 9 o'clock. The Rev. Anthony Capitani celebrated the mass and the Rev. William H McKenna offered prayers at the grave in the New Catholic cemetery. The Rev. James Gallagher, of St. Roch's Catholic Church, West Bangor, Pa., was in the sanctuary and at the cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Charles Montilone, Alfred Prenti, George Korp, George McNevins, Anthony Simmons and Gregory Fedaro.
