Daughter of Uldrick Winegar b.1783-d. Apr 20 1854, NY .and Elizabeth Winans.

Elizabeth married George S. Babcock, On Oct, 31 1831. They lived in Union Springs. NY. untill after the birth of there daug. Louise b. July 28, 1832. George moved to Avon, Livingston Co. NY. Where he became a partner in a Foundry, he lived here several years, two other children were born, daughter* Phebe W. b. Nov 27, 1833 in Avon, and George Willis b. May 10, 1835 Avon, NY. d. died ? date 15 months, Mr Babcock moved to Michigan 1837. stayed there a few months, then went back East for his family and settled in Niles Berrien Co. MI. 1838, He followed various kinds of business, and expirenced the hardships of life in a new country. In 1857 he purchased a farm 1 mile from the city of Niles, where he lived with his wife the rest of there lives,
