Otillia Henrietta Pech died at the home of her son-in-law, Fred Puhl, February 20 from diabetis [sic], aged 75 years, 7 months, 12 days. She was born at Schwabencoln Posen [sic], Germany, July 8th, 1849, and came to America in 1872. In April 1872 at Brooklyn, N. Y., she was married to Henry Emil Pech, now deceased, and they settled in the Lake Creek country in 1873, walking from Redding, Cal. to Jacksonville.

She was a member of the Lutheran church and is survived by three sons and three daughters, Emil and Henry Pech of Medford and Rudolph Pech of Lake Creek, Ore.; Mrs. Amelia Alberts [sic Albers], Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Fred Puhl and Mrs. Matilda Schultz, Medford, Ore. The children were all born in the Lake Creek district and the family lived there 25 years and since then the family have lived on the old home place 4 miles north of Medford.

The funeral services will be held at the Luther[a]n church Friday at 1 p. m. Rev. Kraxberger of Oregon City, who officiated at her husband's funeral, will officiate. Interment in Central Point cemetery. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Perl Funeral Home.
