Funeral services for Ann Pollard Holmes, 74, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Bartley Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Holmes died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Nov. 8, 1934, in Scott County, Ark., to Horace and Della Pollard. She married George Holmes on March 8, 1958, in Clovis, N.M. He died July 7, 1982. She worked at the Nu Griddle Cafe as a waitress for more than 40 years.

Survivors include a brother, Lonnie Pollard of Waldron, Ark.; four sisters, Rose Howell of Waldron, Sue Wilkens and Faye Stockton, both of San Diego, and Madge Hunt of Waldron; one sister-in-law, Billie Quisenberry of Plainview; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, L.T. and Bobby Pollard.
