L. T. Pollard, age 66 of Gravelly, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born December 6, 1941 in Scott County to the late Hoavec A. & Delia Mae Sipes Pollard.
He is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Roy Templeman and Rex Pollard; sisters, Ethel Garner and Darlene Pollard and grandmother, Annie Pollard.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Donna Pollard; daughter, Dencil Gwin of Bluffton; brothers, Lonnie Pollard and Bobby Pollard of Blue Ball; sisters, Rose Mae Howell of Blue Ball, Ann Holmes of Plainview, TX, Madge Hunt of Waldron, Sue Wilkins and Faye Stockton of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside service was July 8 at Parks Cemetery in Gravelly, AR; with Rev. Ricky Lynn Hunt officiating. Pallbearers were Jarrod Gwin, Rodney Gwin, Al Hunt, Mike White, Jason Campbell and C. J. Wiggins. Honorary pallbearers were Mike Millard, Weston Burke, Greg Pollard, Rick Sherrill and Bill Lofand. Arrangement by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
