Daniel Guy Allison age 46 of Brewster, NY died Monday July 10, 2000 at his home after a year long illness. He was born July 1, 1954 in Yonkers, NY the son of Farrell and the late Theresa (D'Anna) Allison. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers and had lived in Yonkers most of his life before moving to Eastchester and then to Brewster 15 years ago. He was a tractor trailer driver for the Coca-Cola Co. in Newburgh for many years. He was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster, Teamster Local #812 of Scarsdale and was a volunteer with the Brewster Little League. On November 6, 1976 he married Barbara (D'Alessio) in Tuckahoe, NY. In addition to his wife of the home address and his father and stepmother Gertrude Allison of Yorktown, he is survived by 2 sons Sean T. and Devin M. Allison, and 2 daughters Erin M. and Meghan E. Allison all of Brewster, 2 brothers Thomas of Yonkers and Robert of Dobbs Ferry and 2 sisters Mary McClean of Brewster and Ellen Downey of Hastings On Hudson, NY, and his mother-in-law and father-in- law Ralph and Mary D'Alessio. A son Brian D. Allison died July 10, 1980. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00AM at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Contributions in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society 220 Route 6, Mahopac NY 10541.
