Mrs. Rhoda Rabon Alford, 56, wife of E. M. Alford of Rt. 1 Aynor, died October 15, 1959. Mrs. Alford was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Jack and Mrs. Margaret Barnhill Rabon. She was a member of the New Home Missionary Baptist Church No. 2. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons W. J. Alford and E. J. Alford of Odessa TX, and Hubert Alford and Thelbert Alford of Charleston; three daughters, Mrs. Hubert Johnson of Charleston, Mrs. Richard Rabon of Aynor and Mrs. Larry Best of Galivants Ferry; a sister Mrs. Annie Jones of Aynor and nine grandchildren.
