Arthur B. Cherry, 80, of 4133 Mineral Point Road, died on Thursday night at a hospital after a short illness. He had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Edwin E. Harris, for five years. A native of Walker, Iowa, Mr. Cherry was a retired farmer. Besides Mrs. Harris, Mr. Cherry is survived by three grandchildren, Ruth Hoth, Neenah; Ensign Elwin A. Harris, Washington D.C., and Marilyn Harris, Madison; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Nelson, Troy Mills, Iowa and Mrs. Lillie Bardoner, Froid, Montana; and one brother, Charles Cherry, Troy Mills. Funeral services will be held at Troy Mills Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The body is at the Fitch-Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Fitch-Lawrence Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert M. Akins, First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Troy Mills, Iowa, his former home.
