BRADLEY - Geraldine D. Shorette, 92, passed away Nov. 3, 2009, surrounded by her family at an Orono health care facility. She was born Dec. 9, 1916, in Old Town, a daughter of Louis and Eva (Martin) LaForge. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bradley, where she sang in the choir.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Gary Shorette and his wife, Pauline, of Bradley; daughter-in-law, Margaret Shorette of Orono; one special sister-in-law, Olive Buck; 10 grandchildren, Amy Shorette and her companion, Melvin Ivey, Jeff Shorette and his wife, Cheryl, Matthew Shorette, Gary Dean Knight, Gina DiProfio and her husband, Dan, Lisa Deon and her husband, Frank, Danny Shina, Paul Cote Jr., Rhonda Stormann and her husband, Allen, and Ronald Cote and his wife, Renee; 23 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sterling; a son, Romaine; daughter, Mary Lou Cote; granddaughter, Julie Shorette; and a grandson, Alan Cote.
