Reta Ineta Phillips, of Kaufman, passed away October 18, 2009 at the age of 91. She was born May 29, 1918 in Cisco, Texas to John Thadus and Cardia (Lissenbee) Carson. Reta worked as a beautician for many years than moved to Dallas and began working for Texas Instruments. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter: Darlene Archer and husband Floyd of Scury, Texas; grandchildren: Lynda Gayle Charles and husband Mike, Dana Lynn Morairity and husband Mark, David Wayne Archer and wife Jamie, Mitzi Miller and husband Stewart, Melanie Hendrikson and husband Kevin; great-grandchildren: John Charles and fiance Angela Ripatse, Marcus Charles and wife Emilie, Landun Charles, Daniel, Mallori, Melodie Morairity, Hayden and Madison Miller, Brooklyn and Brianna Archer; and great-great grandchild: Aubrey Layne Charles. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Harvey Phillips; son: John Ron Barnett; three sisters, and two brothers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00am. Interment will be held after the funeral service at 1:00pm at Restland Memorial Park.
