WATERS, LEROY E., JR., 'BO', 54 of Bristol Avenue, died Sunday at home. He was the husband of the late Donna M. (Sivo) Waters.
Born in Ayer, Massachusetts, he was a son of Leroy E. Waters, Sr., of Independence, Missouri, and Elizabeth M. (Davenport) Waters-O'Connor of Providence.
Leroy was a truck driver for several area trucking companies for many years.
He served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Marine Corps.
Besides his parents he leaves two sons; Leroy E. Waters, III of Warwick, Phillip Waters, of California, four daughters; Elizabeth M. Sivo-Waters, Maria L. Sivo-Waters, Julia A. Sivo-Waters, Leanne M. Sivo-Waters all of Providence, five brothers; John Waters, David O'Connor, both of Warwick, Eric O'Connor, of Johnston, Timothy Waters, of Florida, Dale Waters, of Missouri, four sisters; Betty Anne Waters, of Middletown, Carolyn Waters, of East Greenwich, Barbara O'Connor of Bristol, Joanne O'Connor of Providence, four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth W. Waters.
The funeral will be held Saturday, at 7:45 a.m. at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Anthony Church, Plainfield Street, Providence. Burial, with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Waters Family will be appreciated.
