Marguerite Wright, 89, of Blue Mound, Kansas, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at Moran Manor Nursing Home, Moran, Kansas. She was born January 4, 1916 in Blue Mound, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Mary Clark Rogers. She married Estel Wright on November 29, 1935 at Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1995. She was a member of the Blue Mound United Methodist Church and the Stitch Chatter Club.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Thomas Rogers; two sisters, Edith Shaw and Violet Thompson, one grandchild and a daughter-in-law, Susan. Survivors include two sons; Allen Wright of Owego, New York and Don Wright wife, Sylvia of Overland Park, Kansas; one daughter, Betty Adams husband, Ed of Humboldt, Kansas; three sisters, Kathleen Getty and Mary Pasia , both of Topeka, Kansas and Elma Renfro, Mayetta, Kansas; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Blue Mound Methodist Church, Blue Mound, Kansas.Vistiation will be from 7-8 PM, Thursday at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Contributions are suggested to the church. Interment will be in Sunny Slope Cemetery, Blue Mound, Kansas. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City, Kansas.
