Funeral services for Ben Franklin Albritton, 76, were held Sunday, November 17, at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, with Rev. M. L. Milton of Bridgeport and Rev. Earl Hale of Saginaw officiating. Burial was in the Paradise Cemetery.

Mr. Albritton, a 35-year employee of Acme Brick, passed away November 15, in Bridgeport Hospital.

Born November 24, 1898, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Belle and a son, James Jr.

Survivors include six: Addie Warner and Doris Galloway of Bridgeport, Billy Albritton of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Ted Albritton of Denver City, Texas, and Ima Lee Anderson of Decatur, and Betty Van Hoose of Morton, Texas; one brother, O. G. Albritton; two sisters, Ola Paschall of Paradise and Estelle Rayford of Saginaw; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Howard Galloway, Garland Dodson, Robert Anderson, Wayne Van Hoose, Tommy Ford, and Cecil Van Hoose.

Albritton Rites Held

Benjamin Franklin Albritton, 75, of Bridgeport died Friday in the Bridgeport Hospital.

Services for the retired Acme Brick employee were Sunday at the Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport with the Rev. M. L. Milton Officiating. Burial was in the Paradise Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne VanHoose, Tommy Ford, Robert Anderson, Garland Dodson, Tommy Turner and Howard Galloway.
Albritton was born Nov. 24, 1898 in Paradise. He married Sarah Belle Pierce Aug. 19, 1920 in Cottondale. She died Sept. 5, 1974.

He is survived by sons, Rev. Billy Albritton of Sands Spring, Okla., and Ted Albritton of Denver City; daughters, Mmes Adie Warner and Doris Galloway, both of Bridgeport, Mrs. Ima Lee Anderson of Decatur and Mrs. Betty Joe VanHoose of Martin; brother, O.G. (Bus) Albritton of Paradise; sisters, Mrs. Ola Paschall of Paradise, and Mrs. Estelle Rayford of Saginaw; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by the Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
