Edward T. Crowe, 70, of Austin, died at his home Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009.

He was born Aug. 23, 1939 to Martin and Loretta (Fuerhelm) Crowe in Austin, Minn. He married Barbara Ann Nehls on Aug. 18, 1973 in Osage, Iowa. They made their home in Austin where they raised two children. Edward worked in maintenance at St. Augustine Catholic Church. From July 7, 1969 until April 30, 2004 he was a maintenance and relief man for the sewage treatment center in Austin. A family-loving man, Edward will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Austin; two daughters, Connie Loesch of Rochester and Jean Adams of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Farrell, Ashley Adams and Joshua Farrell; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Monica Severson, Marie Weis, Kathleen Erickson; two brothers, Bernie Crowe, Larry (Joyce) Crowe, all of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joanne and Rose Rita; one brother, Marty; three brothers-in-law, Butch Weis, Fran Severson and John Erickson.

There will be no services. The inurnment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
