Maria Mason Tompkins 1831–1864
Sally Louisa Tompkins 1833–1916

Harriet was the 3rd daughter of Col Christopher Tompkins of Poplar Grove Plantation to die in the month of September, 1842. Her sister Elizabeth Patterson died Sept 2 and was buried at Christ Church Kingston Parish that she was responsible for having rebuilt just before her death. Martha Tabb Tompkins died on Sept 17. She was the wife of Dr Henry Wythe Tabb of Auburn Plantation and was Harriet's oldest sister. She was buried at Auburn Cemetery. Just 3 days after Martha's death was when Harriet herself died and was most likely the reason she was buried at Auburn instead of Poplar Grove, to be with her sister.
