Long Time Resident of Chico Dies in Denton
Wilson W. Jones, 90, retired Chico farmer and cattleman, was buried in Chico Cemetery after funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chico Baptist Church.
Jones, a Chico resident for 64 years, died Tuesday in a Denton hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Homer R. Jones of Dumont, Charlie E. Jones of Denton and Clarence H. Jones of Long Beach, Cal.; four daughters, Mrs. Alice Smith and Mrs. Effie Wilkins of Denton, and Mrs. Alton Vickory of Quitman, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
