Catherine E. McCallum, 94, of Newton, formerly of Grinnell, died of congestive heart failure on Monday, January 6, 1997, in Newton. Memorial services at Smith Funeral Home, Grinnell. Burial in Silent Cemetery, Monroe.
Survivors include two daughters, Marge White of Newton, and Violet Leadley of Buckeye, Arizona; two sons, Paul Edwards of Phoenix, and Herschel Edwards of Marshalltown; and a sister, Ina Mitchell of Florida.
