"Bucyrus, O., Feb 28- Joel F. Shumaker and Jacob B. Smith were instantly killed at North Robinson Sat by the fast train on the Pittsburgh, Ft Wayne & Chicago railroad. At the time of the accident the two men were standing on the main track waiting for a freight train to pull by the side-track and were unable to hear the approaching fast train. When the train was within thirty feet of them the men turned and seeing their fate sank helplessly upon the track and were instantly killed.
