Ada was the daughter of Charles W. CHAPMAN, who was born circa 1855 in New York, and who resided with Frederick and Ada in 1930.

Ada was born in Wisconsin 29 September 1895; died 20 July 1974 at Forest Co., Wisconsin after a car accident; buried there at Cavour Cemetery [Forest Co. Deaths, v. 14, p. 623; g.s.; Soc. Sec. Recs.]. She died as a the result of the same car accident that killed her 20-year old grandson, Gary Edward Gruman [Their Obituary, Harold Times Reporter, Two Rivers, Thursday 25 July 1974, p. 3].

Ada was a clerk for the Town of Caswell for 52 years and a former school teacher at Cavour [Her Obituary, Harold Times Reporter, Two Rivers, Thursday 25 July 1974, p. 3].
