Glenn George Petty 1905 ~ 2004 Glenn George Petty left to join his wife, Eleanor in heaven on January 20th 2004, of natural causes at the age of 98. He was born on August 10, 1905 to George Petty and Annie Petersen in Ferron, UT. He played big band Saxaphone in Las Vegas where he met and later married Eleanor Elizabeth O'Ferrell on May 5th 1931. They later had two children Connie Erickson and Don Petty, five grandchildren, and 14 great- grandchildren. Glenn loved life, playing music, running a sawmill, reciting cowboy poetry, and helping to raise his grand children and great grand children. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents, and is survived by his brother Floyd Petty. Graveside services will be held for family members only.
