Glen Baldwin, 60, of Stanton, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in Midland County in an oilfield accident. Graveside funeral services were held at 10am Saturday, October 24,2009 at The Evergreen Cemetery Chapel with Rev Tony Conner, pastor of Faith Country Church and Carol Clark, officiating.

He was born January 28, 1949, in Idabel, Oklahoma and married Doris Gossett on July 2, 1971 in Huntsville, AR.

Glen had worked in the oilfield all of his life, working here in the United States and all throughout Indonesia. He was a very hard worker and could fix anything. Glen served his country in Vietnam.

He loved his redheaded grandson, guns and shooting. Glen was a member of Faith Country Church. He loved his Church and was a giver.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Baldwin of Stanton; his daughter, Stephanie Baldwin of Houston; his son and daughter in law, Steven and Michelle Baldwin of Stanton; one grandson, Alexander Glen Baldwin of Stanton; his mother, Ina Mae Parsons of Broken Bow, OK; two sisters, Freda Hutchison of Fort Worth and Mary Ann Sizemore of Hindsville, AR, and one brother, Robert Baldwin of Lincoln, AR.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, father and mother in law, Maude Johnson Gossett and Luther Bryant Gossett, Sr.
