Herbert G. Ames 82 of Mansfield died Monday, January 15 1968 at the Blossburg State Hospital following a protected illness.
Born in Knoxville he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Ames.
He was a retired track maintenance man for the Erie Railroad.
His only survivor is a sister Mrs. William Overton of Hornell N Y. Another sister Mrs. Isobel Guy of Blossburg was buried last week and the funeral of her husband, Harry was held Wednesday.
The funeral of Mr. Ames was held Wednesday at Shaw and Robenas Mansfield. Burial was in Gray Cemetery Covington.
The Rev. David Griffith officiated.
