Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Dixon live near Dilley and were married at Waukon, Allamakee County, Iowa. Mr. Dixon was born at Lima, Ohio in 1832 and Rebecca Harden Dixon, born at Columbus, Ohio, five years later. They left Iowa in 1876 and went to Alma, Neb. Where they resided until 1895 when they came to Oregon, locating on a farm South of Cornelius. The past seven years they have lived near Dilley. They had ten children, six of whom are living: Edward of Forest Grove, Lawrence L., Harlow, Mont.; Mrs. Maude Dickson of DeBay, Idaho; Walter, Ithmus of Panama; Leonard, Dilley and Mrs. Clarice Nelson, Catlama, Wash.
