Jim was born to Charles & Lucille (Farnsworth) Cisler in Centerville. He received his education from Seymour High School in 1951. He married Patricia Ann Avey in Savannah, Illinois. Jim was a truck driver for most of his life retiring in 1981. He enjoyed singing, racing cars, boxing and time spent with his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his wife Pat of Centerville, five children, Chuck Cisler, Carl Cisler, Danny Cisler, Jimmy Cisler, Charlie Cisler, eight grandchildren, Melisha Blair, Christian Cisler, Alexis Cisler, Daniel Cisler, Tyler cisler, Seth Cisler, Abbie Cisler, and Brady Cisler. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charlie Beitos.
