MRS. MARY A. WYANT
Of Roaring Spring, R.D., died at her home at 10.45 o'clock Saturday morning after an extended illness. She was born at Roaring Spring May 13, 1863, a daughter of Charles and Catherine (Shuman) Smaltz, and was twice married, first to Zachariah L. Dick and then to Henry M. Wyant. Surviving children of the first marriage are Mrs. Wilma Bush and Harlen of Roaring Spring R.D., and Clayton E. Dick of McKee. Surviving children of the second marriage are Mrs. Ruth Dibert and Chester Wyant of McKee, Mrs. Sara Hoffman of Baltimore, Md., Miss Pearl and James R. Wyant, at the home, and the following step-children: Charles, John and Chris Wyant of Altoona, Mrs. Ella Furry and Mrs. Elizabeth Dick of Roaring Spring and Miss Nettie Wyant of California. There are 32 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Minnie Schell of Bowling Green, O., Andrew Smaltz of Michigan and John of Roaring Spring. Three children preceded her in death. Mrs. Wyant was a member of the Bare Memorial Church of God, Roaring Spring, for 76 years. Friends are being received at the Hite Brothers funeral home, Roaring Spring.

WYANT -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Wyant of R.D. 1, Roaring Spring, will be held Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. at Bare Memorial Church of God, in charge of Rev. W.H. Hower. Interment in Albright cemetery. Friends are being received at the Hite Brothers Funeral Home, Roaring Spring.
