Jimmy Marshall Gibson passed away on September 21, 2001. He was born April 15, 1938, in Lawton, OK to Robert and Bertha Gibson. He and the former Reba Cowan were married on February 22, 1957.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Tracy Gibson.

He is survived by his wife; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Gwen Gibson of Spearman, TX; and daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Frank Flemmons of Yukon, OK. He was a grandpa to four grandchildren: Cheryl, Wayne and Kimberly Gibson of Spearman, TX and Madelin Flemmons of Yukon, OK.

Survivors also include a sister, Linda Wilmoth, and brother, Dent Gibson of Marlow, OK; brother, Bill Gibson of Blanchard, OK; and brother, Boudreau Gibson of Duncan, OK.

Jim spent many years in the oil field and made many lasting friendships. He enjoyed going to auctions and spending time with his family. His kind and generous nature will be missed. Services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m., September 24 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home.
