The 1900 Census gives Louisa's date of birth as March 1835 in New York. I doubt very much that Jeffrey is her maiden name as the 1880 Census lists Joseph H. Seaver as head of house, Louisa as wife, and then there are a couple of step children with the surname of Barrey, and then two more step-children with the surname of Jeffrey. The 1910 Census lists Joseph with an Anna M. (whose maiden name is Bahlke). This census says that Joseph is in his 3rd marriage, and Anna is in her 2nd. All these Census records are from Michigan, Gratiot County.
