She was a 1941 graduate of Waterville High School. Connie had worked at Sterns Department Store in Waterville for 46 years.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph T. Fortin Jr. of Augusta; several nieces and nephews, Trudy and Maury Caron of West Chester, Pa., Mary Ann and John Huper of Georgia, Timothy Tremblay of Florida, Dr. Larry Jr. and Jan Tremblay of California, and Stephen and Tina Tremblay of Massachusetts; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews; and by several cousins.
A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at St. Joseph Maronite Catholic Church, Front Street, Waterville with the Rev. Larry Jensen officiating. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville. (Morning Sentinel 10/28/2009)
