Mrs. Essie Flood, 91, Route 1, Boaz, died at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday at Oakview Manor Nursing Home in Calvert City.
The widow of Alvis Flood, Mrs. Flood was a member of the Oak Level United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Cora Crowell of Hopkinsville; one son, M.A. Flood of Symsonia; one sister, Lillie Wallace of Ind.; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby Smith and one grandson.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Filbeck and Cann Funeral Home in Benton with Leamon Blalock officiating.
Burial will be in Clarks River Cemetery.
