Married widow, Jennie Elzenaar, June 18, 1918 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., MI. She had one son, Gerald Klomp, which Grandpa adopted. To this union three daughters were born:
Mary Helene, Ruth, Dorothy.
Sgt. Co. E, 310 Engrs. 85 Division.
Entered service April 27, 1918, sent to Camp Custer.
Overseas engaged in St. Alihiel and Meuse-Argonne offensive.
Mustered out July 3,1919 at Camp Custer.
Grandpa was a Machine Operator in the local Paper mill. They lived on Balch Street.
