Mr Davis was a member of the National Campers and Hikers Association.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Thelma Davis of Fort Pierce; son Jon Davis of Roswell, Georgia; sisters Gladys Wallace of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Minnie Haliburton of Austell, Georgia; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
